Welcome to my blog, I’m Szabolcs Helmeci, a 20-year-old Hungarian music journalist wannabe.

I’m currently based in the United Kingdom, where I study journalism. I’ve started this blog not only to practice writing, but because music is my passion, and I can’t imagine a day of my life without listening to something new.

I like almost all styles of guitar-based music, from acoustic blues to doom metal, most kinds of electronic, especially synthwave and its subgenres, and pop music from all ages, if there’s anything exciting or innovative in it. I’m also interested in any noteworthy events and proceedings happening in the music industry.

On this blog, I plan to write reviews of recent releases and past classics, lists, and opinion pieces about anything interesting going on. I hope you enjoy my writings, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you’d like me to listen to something.
